New Line Roofing was incorporated in 2007. It was founded on the premise of delivering top value and customer experience. The goal was not just to exceed what you might expect out of a roofer, but out of a professional in any industry. Our accolades often include sentiments about how we did so much more than was expected, how homeowners thought they were hiring a roofer, but ended up with a true partner navigating difficult and unknown waters (often with regards to the insurance claims process).

There is a lot of buzz these days about the home services industries and there are new roofing companies popping up every day. People are seeing the opportunities that the roofing space provides and are jumping in. At a time when you have more choices than ever with regards to roofing companies, we are standing on our longevity, consistency, professionalism, detail and quality installations.

I entered the roofing business because I always had a passion for being a business owner. As a young kid, I drove tractors and dump trucks on our family farm in North Dakota. By my teenage years, I found myself working for a local, Twin Cities roofing contractor. I learned every aspect of roofing, hands on — how to install underlayments without wrinkles, how to cut reglet into a masonry chimney, how to chalk lines for straight courses, advanced details to ensure no leaks exist. This is the old school roofing stuff that unfortunately is missing for a lot of the companies out there today that were started as sales or marketing organizations that picked roofing as a service.

In 2007 I had graduated from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota with a degree in Finance and experience at Morgan Stanley and Travelers Insurance. I had a career choice to make and I chose to found New Line Roofing. There have been some truly great years and some that have brought immense challenges. What remains the same is our persistence, and an unwavering dedication to every project, to see it to the finish line.

Teamwork is essential to delivering a quality product and top customer experience on every project. At New Line Roofing we have leaders in each respective department of Sales, Operations & Finance. We are a true General Contractor in Minnesota under Building Contractor’s License BC626621. This means that we can handle any trade required to restore or upgrade your property. Also, it reflects how we operate. By using employee-based project managers and bringing in trusted labor crews, we pair a specialized crew with your project. A metal roof is installed by a crew that specializes in metal. James Hardie siding is installed by a crew that is experienced with that product. Gutters are installed by professionals that install gutters daily. Further, this allows us to scale up and down based on project size. From repairs & maintenance to multi-million-dollar restorations, we can handle any project.
